Meet Erika Lund Nørgaard.
Twenty-eight, Danish, and dangerously good at her job.
Erika traded Hellerup for an MBA in the U.S. and a career in management consulting, a world of billable hours, client reviews, office politics, and endless meetings. Once the star pupil, she became the clutch analyst every partner wanted in the room, especially one.
Six years and many different organizations later, from Fortune 500s and mid-size manufacturers to a university, municipality, and quirky Silicon Valley startup, Erika has learned that every workplace has the same politics, fraternity antics, and unspoken rules.
And then there's sex.
As Erika dissects her own experiences alongside the salacious and sometimes scandalous stories of corporate America, she begins questioning what success really means. She once measured it by achievement. Now, increasingly, by the approval of her clients, and the attention of a married man.
What will she learn about herself along the way?
If Erika's people and situations feel uncomfortably familiar, your office, your coworkers, your spouse, your closest friend, that might not be a coincidence.
You decide.
